Ceremonial handover of the 100th unit
On September 15th Greenbrier Europe will officially hand over the 100th open car carrier wagon to BLG Logistics Group/BLG Auto Rail GmbH – an international logistics service provider. The ceremony will be held at Wagony Swidnica S.A. - freight wagon manufacturer, owned by Greenbrier.
The first tranche of 100 wagons is part of a 350-unit contract. Deliveries of these modern and low-noise environment-friendly wagons started in August 2011 and will be completed in September 2012. The wagons will operate in Germany and other European countries. Development of the project is a result of the efforts of engineering and commercial personnel from both companies. We are confident of the success of this wagon on the European logistics service market!
